Killer Whale Trainer’s Funeral set for Today
The funeral for a veteran Seaworld trainer killed by one of the park’s orcas is set for a church on Chicago’s South Side.
Services for 40-year-old Dawn Brancheau are planned for Monday at St. Rita of Cascia Shrine Chapel. Family and friends lined up for Brancheau’s wake on Sunday at the Chicago church.

SeaWorld won’t punish Serial Killer Whale
With a backdrop of supposedly happy killer whales swimming in their tank, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment President Jim Atchison said that Tilikum, the orca who killed trainer Dawn Brancheau on Wednesday, would not be subject to punishment.
