Civil rights era music being honored at White House concert

“It’s hard to sing when times are rough,” said US President Barack Obama citing on civil rights songs that have become the soundtrack of the movement that helped bring him to the White House. On Tuesday, Obama welcomed an array of artists to celebrate those songs.
