Earthquake Hits Northern California
An earthquake of magnitude 6.5 occurred yesterday off the coast of northern California, western United States, causing no injuries and causing only minor damage.
The quake, which occurred at 16:27 local was located 35 km west of Ferndale and 360 miles northwest of Sacramento at a depth of 16 km, said the American Geophysical Institute (USGS).
