Both of the above mentioned films didn’t have a budget as big as avatar and weren’t twenty-four years in producing, but to me they all the same entrance you a great deal more than Avatar ever did over the 3 hours i postured in the movie house viewing it. But how come? Since they do not apply the same old techniques of one bloke making a speech and all of a sudden everything being all right, that is why. In Gladiator, Maximus dies and in Saving Private Ryan, the whole 8 men die to just save one. They’re not euphoric conclusions. They work since there contrasting and because they present what lifes actually like and that you will not always capture your happy ending.

On the whole Avatar was a moderately pleasurable film, i would not see it again however it still had instants of pleasure, sorrow and some avid feel good moments. A good family movie but not as mind-bogglingly good as it was psyched up to be.

The wait to watch Avatar is nearly over; the film is released on the 16^th of December (UK and Europe) and the 18^th of December in the US.
