About “The Book of Eli”

The movie was released on January 15, 2010. This movie stars Denzel Washington, and Gary Oldman. Denzel Washington’s character is on a journey to the western part of the united states where he encounters enemies of all sorts and defends himself with his fighting skills. He eventually arrives at a town where he meets the character Carnegie, whish is played by Gary Oldman, and he is searching for a source of water.

The film takes place thirty years after an apocalyptic event. The film was written by Gary Whitta and directed by Albert Hughes. The music is by Atticus Ross. Warner Bros. and Columbia Pictures are responsible for distributing the film. The total running time for the film is 118 minutes and the movie had a budget of 80 million dollars and the total revenue so far is 38 million dollars.  There have been many mixed reviews on this film. Some critcs rave that this film will not dissappoint you if you see it, while other critics are saying that the film is infact a dissappointment to viewers. The mixed reviews should not stop you from watching the film, so watch The Book of Eli now!

The movie Avatar has been a huge success. James Cameron has done it again! This film that hit theathers has been a major success. Some theathers offer this film in 3d which is becoming very popular with movies today.

About Avatar:

The Film has been in development since 1994 and written by James Cameron.  It was supposed to come out right after Titanic, but James Cameron claimed that he wanted to wait longer so he can add even better visual elements to the film as technology progressed.  Avatar is  a science fiction movie that runs approx: 162 minutes. Do not let the length of the movie detere you from watching it, as it is an excellent movie and is well worth the 2 and a half hours as the film needs time to explain itself. The film is distributed by 20th Century fox and the release date was December, 18 2009.  The gross revenue is over 1.3 billion dollars with a 2.3 million dollar budget so the film did make out very well.
