Wired.com played the beta this weekend, getting an early glimpse at what will surely be one of the year’s biggest games.

Halo: Reach, due to hit Xbox 360 this fall, is the final game in the sci-fi series to be designed by franchise creator Bungie. A prequel to the events of the original game, Reach will feature a full single-player campaign. But the beta is all about multiplayer, and it reveals some fresh new ways to shoot your friends.
