Sara Payne Seriously ill

THE mum of murdered girl Sarah Payne was fighting for life last night.

Child sex abuse campaigner Sara Payne, 40, was “gravely ill” with a complication from a previous brain operation.

Relatives and friends, including fellow campaigner Shy Keenan, were at her hospital bedside last night.

Shy Keenan said: “I’m shocked and devastated, we all are, it has been the worst few days. Everyone has been so wonderful and Sara has her family and friends right by her side as she fights to survive.

“Right now our entire focus is on helping Sara and her family get through this, the next few days and weeks are critical – as we all hope and pray for her recovery.”
